Before and After Staging Series | The Art of the Stage

WASHBURN LOFTS

700 S 2ND ST #W70 • MILL DISTRICT • MINNEAPOLIS

Originally built in the 1870s as the Washburn Crosby Milling Company and later as the original test kitchen for Betty Crocker, Washburn Lofts is a rich part of Minneapolis history and is on the National Register of Historic Places. This history is still visible in Washburn Lofts with regards to its oversized windows and concrete pillars.

Our clients had already moved out prior to listing their historical Washburn Loft home. Laurie and her team at FIX Design Haus were able to work with the empty space to maximize the stunning views, abundant natural light, and soaring ceilings. FIX Design Haus created a refreshed look highlighting the beautiful light that comes through the large windows and creating a seamless transition from the historic concrete to cabinetry.
