FAVORITE TV SHOW

I love Ted Lasso! It is not only hilarious but it’s one of those shows that put you in a good mood just watching it.

favorite book(s)

Shoe Dog is an excellent read about Nike founder and board chairman, Phil Knight. He discusses his early days from start-up to now being one of the most recognized brands in the world. Additionally I have enjoyed The Pumpkin Plan a book about how a simple strategy can help grow a remarkable business.

favorite location

Siesta Key, Florida. We love the beach and vibe! Fabulous for a family vacation.

favorite subscription service

Stitch Fix is a life saver for a busy professional and parents who have zero time. I now have my own personal stylist!

FAVORITE BOOK

I just finished reading The Crane Husband, a lovely new novella by Minneapolis author Kelly Barnhill

favorite comedian

We have tickets to see Pete Holmes at The Fillmore in June. Comedy shows are great for date nights!

FAVORITE SPRING HOBBY

I can't wait to shop for my spring planters & garden planting at Mother Earth Gardens.

favorite restaurant

So glad that Cafe Ceres has taken over the old Pennys location downtown! I cannot wait to sit outside on their terrace this spring. Plus it is so close to our office and we have decided, as a team, to start picking different outdoor spaces to meet and chat. Taking a break from the office life and feeling the sunshine.

favorite sport

Go Wild!

favorite podcast

I love an investigation podcast, where the hosts bring you along on the twists and turns of a particular case. Two that I recently enjoyed were The Evaporated: Gone with the Gods, which is about the disappeared people of Japan, and Last Seen, which examines the 1990 robbery of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum where two men stole 13 pieces of art, worth almost half a billion dollars today.

favorite hobby

Baking! My husband and I just got a new stand mixer, and I'm excited to bake from old favorites, like Baking: from My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan and exciting new books like A Good Day to Bake by Benjamina Ebuehi.

favorite spring habit

At the end of the day my husband and I will do the crossword together. It's both challenging and relaxing.

SPRING ROUTINE

I can finally walk everywhere again! I live in downtown Minneapolis (shout out North Loop!) and a perk that I love is that I can walk everywhere. This winter has not been very user friendly. But now that spring is here I can finally have my steps back. Walk to work, walk for groceries walk to yoga, walk to dinner, walk my dog. Walk, walk, walk(a).

FAVORITE SHOW

Beef on Netflix. My boyfriend and I binged it winding down from Easter festivities. It’s part comedy, part psychological drama. 10/10, highly recommend.

FAVORITE GIFT

Flowers! Can you think of a better gift to give to someone who has welcomed you into their home?! I always have fresh flowers in my home and I love when spring arrives with a variety of florals. Mill City Farmers Market has a variety of floral vendors and their outdoor spring market kicks off May 6th!

Pro tip: When gifting flowers make sure you have pre-arranged them in a vase. Otherwise your best intention has now turned into a surprise job for your already busy host.
