A note from the Cynthia Froid Group

As you can imagine, we are already facing changes in the real estate market because of the Coronavirus pandemic.  While these changes are happening quickly, it is very important to know that housing is at the core of everyone’s safety and security. A warm, cozy home is where we are all needing to find comfort and solace right now. We are honored to help our clients every day with their housing decisions, and will continue to do so.

While the manner in which we have been accustomed to buying and selling homes may be temporarily modified, we will still continue to assist you with all your housing needs during this time. The reality is that all the people who need and want to buy homes will still be able to buy homes. All those who need and want to sell homes right now will still be able to sell their homes. In fact, there are many great opportunities out there right now and many savvy buyers and investors will recognize that.

After surviving market shifts from the 9/11 crisis, and the Great Recession, I know that this crisis will also eventually pass, and we will get through this. Markets have cycles and we were definitely due for a market correction, we just didn’t know that a pandemic would be the impetus for such a correction.

The safety of our team, our families and clients are our top priority.  As such, we will all be working remotely and closing our physical office space until it is safe to re-open. Lynn and I will be happy to meet with clients via FaceTime or video conference, or within the CDC guidelines for social distancing. We will also be temporarily suspending open houses, but please know that virtual tours are very easy to accommodate. We have the technology to easily be able to accommodate all your needs.

Please be on the lookout for tips and suggestions on how you can still continue to search for homes, or prepare your home for the market. We will also send updates on changes to closing and final walk through or inspection procedures, in addition to supporting your neighborhood small businesses and volunteer opportunities.

This is all unfolding before us and we appreciate your patience as we navigate these changes together.

We will continue to keep you posted with updates as we monitor daily activity, and please don’t hesitate to call us with all your questions.

Onward together!

Stay healthy,

Cindy and Lynn and the entire team at Cynthia Froid Group
